Story

2002/3
Will Gibson

Sometime towards the end of 2002 Andrew Howard and Will Gibson had a pint in The Swan, Pangbourne and therein the seed was sown.

Early in 2003 Andrew and Will get together with a drum machine and have a Jam. They write a song that still holds the title of "Most Likely To Offend", despite the plethora of candidates penned since. After one more session with the silicon it was decided to recruit a flesh drummer. The first such creature to entertain the thought was Ade Dacre, they didn't look any further...

The Dying Animals played their first gig at The Face Bar in Reading.

2004/5

Songs were written, beers drunk, misogyny talked and gigs performed.

2006/8

Sometime in 2006, or perhaps towards the end of 2005, an unwashed joined The Dying Animals. This unwashed is known as The Bish (aka Adam Bishop) and brought to the band a whole swirling vortex of rock'n'roll.

We played some gigs, wrote some tunes, drank some beers and managed to rustle up a few quid to record 8 songs with Ian Davenport during two session at Courtyard Studio

2009

We are looking for gigs and plan to record a few more tunes.
